Epilogue

After the wedding, Kris and I had our honeymoona week and a half in Sydney. We had our first child at the end of September, a boy that we named Anthony James. Kris was about halfway through her pregnancy when Ginger found out she was going to have another baby, and Christopher Joshua was born in January. It turned out he looked exactly like Zac and almost nothing like Ginger, which I always found amusing.

Anthony was two when Kris got pregnant again, and during her pregnancy Ginger was diagnosed with brain cancer that none of us expected. Apparently a lot of people in Ginger's family died of cancer, and Ginger joined them on June 12, 2008. All of us took the death really hard, but it was nothing compared to how Zac took it. He never married againdidn't as much as look at someone elsebut he devoted his life to his two children and making sure when they got older they knew who their mother was. Kris and I had our second child, this time a girl, in July and named her Rosemary Ginger, but we called her Rose because it was hard for Zac to hear or say Ginger's name for a while after her death.

After the funeral I was surprised and thoroughly pissed off to find out that Leo had been dating my little sister Jessica. It was slightly expected, however, because Leo still never had many friends outside my family and he's always had a weird bond with Jess, even when we were younger. I hit him for not telling me (and a little bit for dating my sister). He and Jess got married about a year and a half later.

Isaac and Roni finally decided to have kids a little bit after Rose was born. They just wanted one but ended up having twins, Kelsey and Gracie. Around that time Zac was getting bored with his producing job, and since he had a new lust for life since Ginger died, he had Isaac and Roni come out to New York, where he gathered me and Isaac in his empty apartment and asked if we would reform the band. I hadn't worked since our farewell album and as much fun as taking care of the children was, it was kind of boring, and Kris didn't have a job anymore either. We did and a year later our album was released; we were welcomed back with open arms and had a hell of a second career.

Kris and I moved into a big house in upstate New York with Zac living next door. Isaac and Roni remained in the city; they enjoyed the rush of city life and found it to be the best place to raise the twins. Leo and Jess ended up moving into the neighborhood with Zac and I, just because Leo hated being away from his best friends. It was there that we all finally settled down for the rest of our lives, making music and living as a tight knit family I had always dreamed of when I was younger. It was the dream that I kept having but never remembered when I woke up in the morning, and I was all that I could have hoped for.
