Our Victim's Advocate, Kathy Smith

Kathy has a big heart and has always wanted to help people and to be of service to her community. Kathy worked for almost 14 years at Pecan Valley MHMR. She was their Eligibility Specialist for the last 5 years. Then Kathy came to Hope, Inc. and worked as a Homemaker Coordinator through a contract with Child Protective Services for almost 5 years before becoming our Victim's Advocate.

As our Victim's Advocate, Kathy helps victims of Domestic Violence put their lives back together. She assists them with legal procedures and gives them free, confidential help with many of their other problems. She also bring our clients together with other agencies who can help them have a better life.
