Hooray for Everything!, New York City's premier short-form improvisational comedy troupe, began working together in New York in the spring of 2001. After a successful year-long run at the Queens Bohemian Garden, they took on Manhattans formidable comedy scene. Their loyal audience followed Hooray for Everything! to Ha! Comedy Club in the Times Square District where they performed twice weekly as the long-running Resident Improv Troupe. Troupe members enjoyed work in film, television, and stage from the increased exposure
In 2003, Hooray for Everything! began performing at other comedy clubs in NYC, private parties, tour group functions, and various corporate events. The troupe is good with adults as well as kids: Hooray for Everything! travels every summer to a multi-cultural childrens camp in upstate New York to perform and teach workshops on improvisation. In the spring of 2004, the multi-talented cast produced, wrote, directed, and starred in a self-titled short mockumentary film. Soon after, the movie was chosen as an Official Selection of the 2005 Beverly Hills Film Festival. After the critically-praised screening, Hooray! performed live for a packed house at the famous Knitting Factory on Hollywood Boulevard.
"Laugh out loud. Side-splitting, pee-your pants funny."
"Each member offers their own unique brand of comedy... the obvious comfort and rapport between members helps to prove that the whole can indeed be greater than the sum of its parts... "

Upon their return to New York, Hooray! was invited to perform at NYCs legendary Carolines on Broadway, where they proudly made their Broadway debut in front of a sold-out house of hundreds of fans. (They have since been invited back for an encore scheduled for mid-November, 2005). Hooray! was also recently flown from New York City to perform as family entertainment in a 600-seat amphitheatre at the 2005 Port Orange Family Days Festival in Port Orange, Florida. After almost five years together, Hooray for Everything! works their robust comedy more solidly than ever. The modular show can be tailored to fit any time-frame (from 30 to 90 minutes and beyond) or age group (from 3 to 103) and includes musical-improvisational games, as well as group participation games and amazing improvised scenes based on audience suggestions. Hooray for Everything! prides itself on its self-contained nature4 guys, a girl, and a guitarno props, no set-up, no frills. Just funny.
