25. Pike (Indianapolis, Ind.) – Record: 17-9. 1999-00 Final Ranking: NR. -- The entire first five and nine of top thhe 10 kids are back. All-state senior Chris Thomas (24.3 ppg. & 6 rpg.) is the MC at Pike. David Teague, Keith Borgan and Curtis Thomas are his support crew. Two transfers will provide bench support: Tony Weeden (Indianapolis Manuel) Donald Yates (Indianapolis North Central).

24. Molloy (Briarwood, N.Y.) – Record: 17-9. 1999-00 Final Ranking: NR. -- Jack Curran, New York state's all-time wwinningest coach, has enough playaz to return Molloy to national power status. Sophomore sensation Marlon Smith (ya heard about him on HTV last year), nationally ranked senior forward Wendell Gibson (6-8, 225) and John Sickeric will be Curran’s go to guys.

23. Camden HS (Camden, N.J.) – Record: 28-5. 1999-00 Final Ranking: NR. -- How far can one super hero carry a team?? We’ll find out as Dajuan Wagner (31.9 ppg.) tries to Xerox last year’s state championship and NJ T.O.C. title without Arthur Barclay (24 ppg. & 18 rpg.).

22. DeMatha (Hyattsville, Md.) - Record: 28-5. 1999-00 Final Ranking: NR. -- Coaching legend Morgan Wootten has two nnice big fellas in Jordan Collins (13 ppg. & 7 rpg.) and Travis Garrison. Junior guard Marshall Stickland transferred to DeMatha over the summer adding one America’s best underclassmen to the roster.

21. Rice (New York, N.Y.) - Record: 21-7. 1999-00 Final Ranking: NR. -- How do you replace Andre Barrett and Kylle Cuffe? You don’t, but 7-2 Shagari Alleyne, Jason Wingate and Kevin Eusey make up a sophomore class that will have 3 years to make the Apple forget ‘em.

20. Midwest City (Midwest City, Okla.) - Record: 26-2. 1999-00 Final Ranking: NR. -- Sheldon Williams and DeAngelo Alexander wrecked foes for Athlete’s First (OK) on the summer scene. All those ass-woopins were in preparation for defending their Class 5A state championship.

19. St. Mary’s (Phoenix, Ariz.) - Record: 26-7. 1999-00 Final Ranking: NR. -- The Big Three: Channing Frye (15 ppg. & 12 rpg.), Jason (28 ppg.) and James Fontenet will make another run at the state title. Last season the squad was ranked #1 in the state until they were upset in the state championship game.

18. Berkmar (Lilburn, Ga.) – Record: 30-2. 1999-00 Final Ranking: NR. -- The 1999-00 Class 4A champs have four sttarters and seven of its top eight players on the roster again this season. This squad from the Dirty South includes all-stater Clark Williams (18 ppg. & 7 rpg.), Shawn Ikpa, Adrian Borders, standout junior Wayne Arnold and sophomore Alex Weekes. All four averaged in double-digits last year.

17. Southern (Baltimore, Md.) - Record: 20-6. 1999-00 Final Ranking: NR. -- Guard Melvin Scott (24 ppg.) is one of mmost accurate gunners in the Class of 2K1. Nasty guards Darshan Luckey and Keyon Johnson will ride shotgun.

16. RJ Reynold’s (Winston Salem, N.C.) - Record: 27-2. 1999-00 Final Ranking: NR. -- The entire first five is back for a teamm that jacked last year’s Class 4A state title. Mitchell Bittle (17.4 ppg. & 3.1 apg.) and Derrele Mitchell (13 ppg. & 6.1 rpg.) are the lead dawgs.

15. St. Vincent-St. Mary’s (Akron, Ohio) - Record: 27-0. 1999-00 Final Ranking: NR. -- A perfect shine and the Ohio Division IIII tile are freak accomplishments for a team led by a freshman. Now 6-7 LeBron James (17 ppg.) is back for his soph season after bustin’ ass all summer. Sophomore 3-point killer Dru Joyce and seven other players also return.

14. Whitney Young (Chicago, Ill.) - Record: 20-8. 1999-00 Final Ranking: NR. -- Ronald Howell, Josh Williams, Marcus Whiite and point man Chris Hill (10 ppg.) will have to carry more of the load now that superstar Najeeb Echols has bailed to Morgan Park (IL). A Top 10 team before Echols left, there is still lots of talent on this Crilla squad.

13. St. Thomas More (Oakdale, Conn.) - Record: 31-3. 1999-00 Final Ranking: NR. -- All-American candidate Julian Sensley (220 ppg. & 13 rpg.) is the man on a team that also has future D-I guards Carl Krauser and Solomon “Chili” Brown.
