The Grizzly Bear is one of the most feared mammals on the American continent. This is from the fiercly protective nature of their personality.Understanding only makes one more cautious while still reveling in the beauty and intelligence they pocess.

FAMILY

Grizzly bear mothers are fiercly protective of their young. when anything, even another male grizzly, threatens one of her cubs, she sheperds them away from danger, or fight if needed. Mating season produces 1 to 4 cubs, but most of the time 2 cubs.

For the most part though, Grizzlies, or brown bears, are solitary, only coming together for the spawning season and for mating.

WHERE IN THE WORLD?

The grizzly bear is most commonly found in Canada, where's there's less humans. The range of the grizzly bear is from Alaska down to the upper part of the United States.
