Between George and Elizabeth (in the background standing on the porch) we believe is their youngest daughter Cordelia (she died years later giving birth to her first child). The only one of their children missing is Martha Owen Tucker and her family. Why they weren't there is anyone's guess. Speculation is Martha's father was a Confederate soldier and her father-in-law was a Union soldier; tensions were still running high between some families on different sides of the war.
