I have learned Tai Chi for a number of years, and I am still a very slow learner on the movements. Taking Sifu Ziboce's private lessons, intermittently in Hong Kong was a kind of enjoyable, comfortable and stress-released experience. With Ziboce's instruction, my mind was not longer on memorization of the movement sequence, but on the flow of Chi, with the focus on the feeling of energy that flows over and across the body. Peter gave me inspiration and space to self-development, not only on my forms, but on the creativity of thinking. That is what, I think, Ziboce calls it Beyond Tai Chi. Physically, Ziboce has changed my Tai Chi forms, and as a a result, Tai Chi relieved my pains on my knees and shoulders. S. Shah |
