Our Story

Honey Melon Design Co was born out of a love for artistic design and a need for affordable florals. My name is Araidne Nyberg and I am from the beautiful Saint George area. I always loved planning dance dates with my highschool sweetheart and our group of friends, but I was never fond of paying fifty plus for our matching florals that so often fell apart or had tight, itchy elastics.

After returning home from our religious missions, my highschool sweetheart and I began planning our wedding in the middle of the COVID pandemic. There was so much uncertainty and the quotes I received for fresh flowers just did not fit within our budget. I began researching and discovered Sola Flowers, and the idea of environmentally friendly, sustainable, and reusable flowers really appealed to me.

I ordered a box of flowers and the rest is history. After hand dying, stemming, and arranging all of the florals for my own wedding, I began creating boutonierre and corsage sets for my younger siblings and their friends. From there, I began taking orders for other members of our community. From dances, weddings, birthdays, and special occassions, I am confident that I can help bring your floral dreams to life.
