The launch ramp
Material needed:                                                                                                         Quantity
8' x 4" x 2"  timber beams                                                                                                4
3/8" shuttering ply (6' x 4")                                                                                              1or2
4mm plywood, exterior grade (6' x 4")                                                                              1
3/4" exterior 3 ply shuttering (6'1" x 1'7")                                                                          2
2" nails                                                                                                                           1 box
metal sheet (4' x 5")                                                                                                         1

What to do:
1- take the 4 timber beams and saw them in half
2- take one sheet of 3/4" exterior 3 ply shuttering and mark the first 5' (of the 6'1" base) in six inch intervals. To make the curved transition< mark the hieght at each six inch interval and then join all the points together. Cut out the shape and then use this side as a template for the second sheet.Draw around the second sheet and cut out the second side.
3- Nail together the 8 beams into each side wall. You now have your frame.
4- Take a sheet of 3/8" shuttering ply and nail it into the top of the frame. For extra strengh, you might want to nail a second sheet on top first.
5- take the 4mm ply sheet and nail this onto the 3/8" shuttering. Make sure that the front end of the top sheet (the lip) is flush with the floor.
6- To protect the lip nail on the thin sheet of metal 4' x 5"
