The White Stripes are back on track. After a few months of recovery time for JAck, The White Stripes played there first gig in San Francisco on September 13th. The gig was a triumphnat return from the duo and they were great crowd pleasers. It seems their abscence served them well and made them hungry for playing live again.
Bad News on the White Stripes camp, Jack broke his finger in a car crash and gig dates were cancelled, most have recently been rescheduled, apart from a couple in the US and all the UK festival dates that were cancelled, but you can't reschedule festivals anyway, so no worries there.

The July 5th Milwaukee, WI - Eagles Ballroom show has been cancelled and rescheduled for 8th July

Latest album 'Elephant' makes the grade and ends up at number one in the UK charts for 3 weeks! Gradually going down in the charts they now stand at a position of 3rd which is still pretty damn great!
Single 'Seven Nation Army' made it to number 5 in the first week of release and is currently at number 7! Still in the top ten! Perhaps the people of Britain are beginning to see what music is! Well considering what's number one......i shouldn't really say that though.
