The Vines are currently hoping to get in the studio and start recording the follow up to the amazing, 'Highly Evolved', very soon, Expected release to be around December time.
In other news (late i know but i'm slow), The Vines won best single for 'Get Free', at the NME awards.

The Vines recent debate with coca cola has been settled. Craig Nicholl's figure was put on the can for advertising, this resulted in Craig boycotting Coca Cola. It however, has now been cleared up and Craig's figure has been taken off the cans. The band apologised to their fans for the misunderstanding, hearing that some fans called them sell-outs, in my opinion, i couldn't care less, they still make amazing music.

The Vines have finally finished the mixing of their follow-up to the amazing Highly Evolved. Due to be released early next year, the second album is sure to be just as amazing as the debut 'Highly Evolved.'
