Hannah is 22 months. She is doing sooo much in the way of communication and speech these days. She is into singing songs w/ me and trying to sing all the lyrics even though she doesn't know the words. She follows along with me and sings it right after I do. Most of its jibberish but very cute! Itsy bitsy spider and wheels on the bus are her favorites today, but tomorrow it might be ABC's and the hokey pokey!! Hannah also has been trying to say sentences that are more than 3 words. She can tell me what she wants most of the time. Its much easier to figure her out these days. Although she was never really that hard to figure out in the first place! We go to music class every sunday (gymboree) and she loves it. We love to dance together and sing songs. Something that isn't to hard to do while holding Heather so that is good! Also Hannah has been constantly asking what things are! She is exploring her world big time right now. Another thing is that she is working on her fine motor skills. She is doing lots of stacking with her toys. I find little "towers" everywhere around the house. She gets frustrated when she tries one that is impossible and gets mad at me when I am around - as if I am the reason why she can't do it. So I find if I leave her alone while busy with a project that she can eventually achieve what she wants!
Heather is 11 weeks tomorrow. She is smiling so much, and a very cute smile at that! She is just starting to grab her toys and hold on to them. She kicks and plays alot - still loves her gymini and mobile. She is "talking" more and more too. Lots of coo's, giggles, & snorts. Its fun. I just ask her to tell me about her day and she will talk back as if we are having a little conversation! At two months, she weighed 11 pounds 6 oz. and was 22 1/4 inches long. She has outgrown most of her 0-3 month clothes already. She seems to be bigger than Hannah was. Heather seems to be enjoying Hannah. She smiled at Hannah for the first time today! Hannah is loving her so much. Hannah and I went to the store alone together last weekend and when we got there she asked for Heather. Its nice to know that Heather's big sister loves her!!
Last week Heather was nice to me and let me sleep through the night. But this week she is waking again. Oh well! Actually I remember Hannah did the same thing. Little teasers!!
