Igor is 5! We had a little birthday party for igor yesterday evening. Hannah is SOOO into birthday's and we had fun celebrating Igors. I can't believe he is 5 already though. It is sad that this was the first time we celebrated Igor's birthday. Hannah frosted a doggy bone with peanut butter for them and we lit a candle and sang. Heather loves the birthday song and was actually trying to sing it!! :)
"Mommy my bum bum is really tiny....but its growing, and growing, and growing...and it will never stop!" Hannah said this to me the other night. It was so funny, And isn't that the truth!! Hannah is getting so excited for her birthday already. That is one reason we decided to have a little party for Igor yesterday and focus on one birthday or holiday at a time. She really wants it to be tomorrow and it is so hard to explain to her that it is still almost 3 months away. She already has it all planned out and I am already starting to think about planning it. Yes, I am one of those crazy mom's I guess. Anyway, it is to be a Bob the Builder birthday with a green cake (her favorite color) and she wants all the characters to be on it. Hannah's going on the potty very well now and can do it all by herself if she is motivated to do so - even washes her hands by herself. We wear underwear everyday till naptime and then again until bedtime. I bought some girls Bob The Builder underwear off of ebay (brand new in package - I was so excited to find them!). Hannah will be excited to see them too. She has been begging for bob underwear which are pretty much impossible to find. I just hope they won't be the only she wants to wear because we will only have 3 pairs.
Kisses and Hugs are Heathers latest thing. She gives me lots and lots of big-wide-open-mouth-all-over-your-face kinds of kisses and sometimes a little closed mouth "mmmmwwwaaa" kiss too. She also loves to give hugs. At naptime or bedtime, she will nurse for a minute then look up at me with a little whisper "hi" and give me a little hug, go right back to nursing and eventually fall asleep. I love it.
She is walking more and more too and tries very hard. "Momma and Hi" are her words right now. She has said more in the past and even attempted to say "doggy" yesterday while patting babushka, but she is mainly saying momma and hi right now. I think she is focused on climbing and walking at the moment!
