April 2001 I finally started, studying physics at the Johannes Gutenberg University in Mainz. In Autum I commenced my studies
of philosophy.
While the physics were easy to understand, I just had a hard time working out the math. But I dropped physics because it was
too time consuming, having still enough to do with philosophy, linguistics and psychology. Later I exchanged linguistics for
English, and this combination is what keeps me busy to this day.
In 2003 I tried to reactivate the Philpost magazine, dormant for about two years. Being an editor is quite a
task, especially for an imprint that doesn't pay a fee or has much else to offer. Still, our new issue was quite a success, but
before I could do another issue (though I started one) I left the country, moving to France.
It was here where I switched linguistics with English, while still staying closer to linguistics than culture studies. But I
have to admit that studying in a country without being able to speak or even understand its language is quite a challenge.
Here I joint a local radio station, made by students for students, the Radio Dijon Campus. It was my neighbor who told me about. Denis Aubert used to be in charge of all non-musical programming. Later I made my MAO course with him.
And now let's see what's in store for me...
