This class will be a full term class. In this class, you will learn about dark creatures encountered in the Harry Potter series (up until Book 5; a lesson might be added following book 6, but you'll likely see that as your last lesson). In order to pass this class, you MUST take your mid-term and final exam. You will earn one quill for completing both exams. Homework is optional but a great way to earn points for your house! There will also be OCCASIONAL extra credit; it won't be every month. There will also be an optional "project" later on in the year, around March

In order to earn your 2 quills, you must turn in all 4 assignments for the first term and either all 4 assignments or 3 assignments and the project for the second term.

Rules

These rules are simple.

1. All work MUST be sent to [email protected]. All questions can also be sent to this e-mail or posted on the class forum.

2. All homework is due on the last day of the month by midnight HOL time. For every day it's late, you'll lose 3 points. If you e-mail me before the due date, with an excuse as to why your homework won't be in, I'll usually grant it. I'm a reasonable person :)

3. All work (homework, exams, questions) MUST include your student name and HOL ID. Failure to include this information will result in the loss of 5 points. If I cannot locate your student name and ID, I simply can't award points.
