HISTORY MAKER 2008

House of God Youth Camp
August 11-15, 2008

Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

I hope this letter finds you well and in the good hands of our loving Father. We give thanks for your friendship and praise God that you are continuing to grow in His knowledge and love.

This year, our chosen camp theme is History Maker. We believe our generation is called to stand in the gap and to make a difference for Jesus Christ in this hungry and broken world. If not us, than who will stand in the gap and reach the nations? In Isaiah 61:1-3, the bible says The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me; because the Lord hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound; to proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn; to appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, that he might be glorified. We would love it if you join us in being history makers for Jesus Christ.

This years camp will be held at Camp Koronis in Paynesville, Minnesota (2 hours north of the Twin Cities) and it will run from August 11-15th, 2008. The cost is $170.00 per person (camp t-shirt included) if you register before the May 31st deadline. There will be a $5.00 late fee and an additional $3.00 if you plan to take the bus from the Twin Cities to camp.

In addition, something exciting we will look forward to at camp is the changing of our camp name. We would like you to be a part of this process because we believe your voice is as important as ours is in being a part of this calling. House of God Youth Camp began 7 years ago as a simple youth camp to meet the needs of our growing and hungry youth. Over the last years, God has evolved it into an unimaginable blessing for many young people who are in need of knowing Jesus and we want to give God the glory and continue to stay in His will. Therefore, we realize the name House of God Youth Camp no longer reflects the ministry for which it was originally intended, but that the camp name should be changed to reflect what God is doing through the Body of Christ and what God desires for the Body of Christ to do.

Enclosed are camp flyer, a DVD camp promo, camp registration form, and a couple of information sheets. We ask that you would show the DVD to your churches and to spread the word. If you should have any questions and concerns, please direct them to ZeeLue (651) 493-7835 or Kang Bao (763)257-4164. They are ready and waiting for your phone calls and emails (www.geocities.com/hogycamp).
