Ju52 Restoration at Brussel
by Jos Schoofs
Jos Schoofs supplied a set of photos taken during
the restoration phase of the Ju52 at Brussel. Jos is greatly interested in solving the serial no question of this aircraft.
As his photos from the pre restoration phase indicate, it is Portugese Air Force 6309. That aircraft might be c/n 5670,
which flew with Sabena as OO-AGU before WWII. But it might also be c/n 5664, which according to PAF went to
Brussel as well. A construction no. plate found during the restoration says 35220/15/6. If anyone knows more about
the identity of this aircraft, please contact Jos Schoofs.
Once again a great "Thank You" to Jos Schoofs !
