Naoko is Mayu's best friend. They live on the same street and have been friends for years. Naoko tends to get better grades in school, but not by much. She is pretty average. Her and Mayu have everything in common and could hang out for weeks at a time. Naoko's ex-boyfriend, Keii, is insane and does really stupid things most of the time. Mayu has been working for ever to hook Naoko up with Tsutomu, Mayu's cousin. They're so cute and totally dig each other. hehe. Naoko is unaware of Mayu's secret idenity as the famous chick fighter (lol.) And doesn't understand why Mayu can't make school fit into her "boring" life. Naoko is really outgoing and is always looking out for her friends.
