Mayu is an average high-school girl in Sunflower Hill. She attends a fairly prestigous high school, alas! her grades suffer. She is often more involved with the lives of her friends than her own until the day she meets Rii; the boy who will change her life forever. Over 900 years ago, a girl lived who possesed strange powers. Her life, however, was cut short in a battle. Now, as her reincarnation, Mayu must work along side with her enemy, Rii, to fulfill their destiny laid out by two people who's souls are looking for vengeance and happiness, and finish the battle that was never truly won. They are led to Hizashi no Sawa: the Valley of Sunlight. Just what exactly happened here 900 years ago? And can Rii and Mayu set things right? Will they want to?
