Kaoru is one of Mayu's really good friends. They've known each other since they were like 4, and they still are friends. Even though there is nothing between them, (they're relationship is that of a big brother/little sister) lots of guys get jealous of Kaoru because of the closeness he has with Mayu. Kaoru does, however, have a crush on Keikou, one of Mayu's friends. He has for a long time, but Keikou isn't interested.
