When they got to the school Alexis and Heather walked in and watched as Scott drove away.
"Why does he want us to come here?" Heather asked.
"He said that he wanted to help me with my math skills or something like that." Alexis replied.
"OK.  Why does he want me here then?"
"I have no clue.  Well, lets go find out where he is." Alexis said walking to their enrichment room, 604.
"Mr. Gnabah, are you here?" Alexis asked out loud.
There wasn't any movement.
"I take it he's not here yet." Heather said flipping on the lights.
"Nope, lets just sit here and wait for him." Alexis said sitting at one of the desk's.
"I can't believe I am at school on spring break." Heather said sitting down at the desk next to Alexis.
"I know.  I have no clue why he wanted both of us to come.  Maybe he needs to talk to us about something." Alexis guessed.
"You're exactly right." Mr. Gnabah said walking in the room.
Alexis and Heather stood up, startled.
"Sorry, did I scare you two?"
"Mr. Gnabah, what are you wearing?" Alexis asked ignoring his question and looking at his shirt.
"Oh, this?" he chuckled.  "My wife made it for me.  It's a cat.  Can't you see it?"
"I don't need to, thanks though.  What was it you needed us here for?" Heather asked.
"I wanted to show you something.  One of my hobbies that I do." Mr. Gnabah started.  "Come on, its right outside."
"OK.  But how long are we going to be here?  My mother doesn't like us leaving without her knowing about it." Heather said as they all headed outside.
"It shouldn't be long.  Here, its right over here." Mr. Gnabah said pointing at his car.
They all walked over and he tried to open his door but it was locked.
"Oh, shoot!  I must have forgotten my keys in the room.  I'll be right back." he said walking back into the school.
Alexis and Heather stood there waiting for him to come back.
"This is driving me crazy!  Why couldn't he wait till we got back to school to show us his so called hobbies?" Heather complained.
"Heather, you complain too much.  Chill out and just give the guy a chance.  I mean, we do pick on him an aweful lot," Alexis said seeing that he was coming back.  "Shhh.  He's coming." she whispered.
Alexis looked at him and seen that he didn't look the same as he did during school.
"Mr. Gnabah, are you OK?" she asked.
"Yea, I'm fine.  Why do you ask?" he replied.
"You just look a little shaken up.  That's all."
"No, I'm fine.  Thanks though.  Now for what I've been wanting to show you for the past two weeks." he said with a grin on his face.
He opened the car door and stuck his head inside.  He mumbled something then stood back.
   "OK." he yelled.
When he stepped back something came flying out of the car.  It landed on Alexis and she stumbled backwards, startled.  She looked down and screamed.  She threw the nasty beast off of her and cringed.
"Mr. Gnabah, that was not funny.  Not funny at all!" Alexis cried.
"I thought it was." he said laughing.
"So did I." someone said climbing out of the car.
Alexis tried to see who it was, but they had a mask on.
   "Who are you?" Heather asked.
"Someone who loves to see Alexis jump." he said walking towards Alexis.
Alexis backed away and looked over at Mr. Gnabah who just shrugged his shoulders.
   "Who are you?" Alexis asked.
"You know who I am." he said, still walking towards her.
"Well, then who are you?" she asked again.  "And what do you want?" she added.
"Nothing, get out of my way!" he yelled.
Alexis recognized who it was as soon as he had said that.
"Alex, you're gonna die!" she said running after him.
He started running back towards Mr. Gnabah's car, but Heather shut the door.
"Alex, you're on his side?" Alexis asked cornering him against the car.
"Yea, why not?  It's fun picking on you, and when he was telling me about this during wrestling I said that I had to help.  I wanted to see your face."
"Alex, how could you?!  You know how strongly I believe that this is wrong!  Alex, that was just crude!" she yelled.
"Hey, it was Mr. G.'s idea!" he said holding his hands up as if to shield him from her hitting him.
Alexis turned towards Mr. Gnabah and started walking towards him.
"I can't believe you would stoop so low.  Sure Heather and I pick with you about it.  But having someone throw a dead cat at me?!  Mr. Gnabah, how sick!!!" she said with a scowl on her face.
He and Alex just started laughing.
"Alexis' right," Heather agreed with Alexis.  "That was wrong.  You know how much she love's animals.  To have one thrown at you when you're a big animal freak, that has to be a nightmare."
"Thanks, Heather." Alexis said looking over at the dead corpse.
"Alexis, I'm sorry.  I didn't know that it would effect you this much." Mr. Gnabah apologized.
"Yea, I'm sorry, too." Alex said.
Alex Manos was in ninth grade.  Alexis met him this year.  She was supposed to be in gym, but she got hurt and had to sit out.  During gym she would go to the library and Alex was the library tech. in there at the time.  Alexis didn't like him at first.  But, he grew on her and now she likes him, a little bit.  Everytime she is in the hall and he see's her, he'll run up behind her and say, "Get out of my way!" or "God, Alexis." and smile.  Sometime's he just give's her a really weird look.  Her friends say that that is the way of him flirting with her, but she don't believe it.
