| He signed off after that and shut the computer down. He walked over to the bathroom door and knocked on it. Alexis stepped out and smiled. "I'm, OK." "OK. I'm going up to Heather's room. You wanna come?" "Sure." Alexis said and walked up the steps with him. When they walked into Heather's room the lights were out. Alexis flipped them on and Heather shot up. "Turn them out! They are too bright!!" she cried. Alexis shut them off and said sorry. "What are you guys doing?" she asked. "We came up to see you." Scott said sitting down next to her. "Oh. Sorry, I fell asleep." "We can see that, Heather." Alexis smiled. She seen that Scott was looking out of the window and walked over beside him. "What are you looking at?" she asked. "Nothing. Just the stars." he smiled. "At least someone likes looking at the stars!" Alexis said smiling and looked at Heather. "Hey! It's not my fault that I don't like night time." Heather protested. Everyone laughed at her remark and Alexis sat down in Heather's pink bean bag chair. "So, what are we gonna do tonight?" Scott asked sitting on the bed. "I don't know. But is it ok if I go check my email, Heather?" Alexis asked standing up. "Sure. You know my pass word." "Isn't it a five letter word?" Alexis smiled. "Uh, yea. Thats it!" Heather smiled back and watched as Alexis walked out of the room, shutting the door behind her. Alexis walked down the basement and turned on the computer. She got a CD while waiting for it to load up. She put the CD in and logged on Heather's screen name. As soon as she logged on someone I.M.ed her. Gnabanator: Hello, Heather... HMBeyer: This isn't Heather. But hi Mr. Gnabah. Gnabanator: Who is this? HMBeyer: Alexis... Gnabanator: UHG!!!! j/k. How are you? HMBeyer: I'm ok. How are things with you? Are you having a good spring break without us there to bug you about the "cat killing" thing? lol Gnabanator: Yes I am! :o) everything is going just great, also! How about yourself? HMBeyer: Everything is ok here, I guess... I just got on to check my email. I have to do it real quick, would you hold please? Gnabanator: Sure. HMBeyer: Thanks! Gnabanator: Yep! As Alexis was checking her email she heard something coming from the garage. She got up and walked over to the door and slowly opened it. "Hello?" she asked peering out. No answer. "Is anyone there?" she called again. No answer. I must be hearing things again. She thought to herself. She walked back into the room and seen that she had a lot of email. She deleted a lot of it because Heather send's her chain letters. Gnabanator: Are you done yet? Mr. Gnabah I.M.ed her again. HMBeyer: No, not yet. Sorry. Is there something that you wanted? Gnabanator: Actually, yes. I wanted to know if you and Heather could meet me at the school in 20 minutes? HMBeyer: Um. Why? It's spring break. Why would you want to go to the school? Gnabanator: Well. I left some things there that I need for Easter. And plus, I was thinking that maybe I could help you with your math. I know that you've been having some problems. HMBeyer: Well, OK. I'll get Heather's boyfriend to drive us up there. He won't stay though, could you bring us back to her house? Gnabanator: Sure. HMBeyer: OK. Thanks, see you in a few. With those last words Alexis signed off and walked up to Heather's room. "Scott, could you run Heather and I up to the high school please?" she asked walking in. "What?! The high school? Are you insane?!" was his reply. "Scott, please. Mr. G. was talking to me on-line and he asked if Heather and I would meet him up there." "Fine, but I'm not staying." "OK. Lets get going." Alexis smiled and walked out to his car. She got in the front and Heather climbed in the back. |
