Rob and Mandy warp back in time and are standing on the steps of the library.
Mandy: We did it! This totally looks like our time! I remember that guy on the bike … this is like some weird déjà vu.
Rob: Shh!! Look.
They look up the steps and see their past selves entering the library.
Mandy: Whoah.
Rob: Yeah. That could’ve been bad, I think, if they’d seen us.
Mandy: Whatever, just move the thing a little this time and get us back to our time …
Rob presses the button and they warp.
This time, they warp in just in time to see the flash of light as the past Rob and Mandy disappear into their strange adventure through time.
Rob: This is probably as close as we can get. What do you think?
Mandy: Works for me. Let me see that thing for a sec.
Rob: Sure.
Rob hands Mandy the time doohickey.
Mandy drops it on the floor and stomps on it several times. Rob’s face is filled with horror. Mandy smiles happily when she’s through and leaves.
Mandy (over her shoulder): See ya tomorrow. I’m done “studying” for the day.
Rob stares after her as she exits the library.
Last shot of Rob stooping over the pile. He picks up the pieces and puts them into his bookbag.
