(Kevin & Evan)
Future Rob: It’s like some kind of time loop. And seriously, what are the chances they do everything exactly as we did it? One slight difference and their path will be changed from the one we took.
Future Mandy: This sucks. What are we going to do?
Past Rob: This is ridiculous.
Future Rob: I think the best course of action would be to say nothing and hope there’s something to the dimension of Time that we don’t understand. Well, I mean, that’s obvious but, you know …
Past Mandy: So, we just go in and forget we ever saw you?
Future Rob: You’ll understand everything in a few minutes.
Past Rob (sputtering): This is just ... I mean, this is just totally ...
Future Rob: Get a grip, Robert.
They all look at each other strangely. Past Rob and Mandy make their way up the library steps a little ways and then peek back at their future selves staring back up at them. They disappear into the library.
Rob and Mandy sit down on the steps of the library, the time device between them.
Future Mandy: I wonder how many of us are out there ...
Future Rob: Huh?
Future Mandy: I mean, those two were kind of like copies of us. What if it’s impossible for them to make any choices except for the ones that already made? It would totally perpetuate this infinite loop which means there could be an infinite number of us ... ok, now my head is hurting.
Future Rob: It won’t in a minute.
Future Mandy: Why, you have Advil?
Future Rob looks at Mandy and smiles strangely, almost sadly.
Final panel, the library steps. Rob and Mandy are gone, no flash, no sizzle of trans-dimensional electricity, just ... gone. The time device sits where it was just a moment ago.
The End.
