PANEL 1
MANDY puts her head in her hands. Behind them we can see soldiers fighting, and bombs exploding, sending clumps of dirt flying into the air.
MANDY So we’re trapped here?
ROB Unless you know how to recharge a fusion core battery.
PANEL 2
MANDY and ROB are huddled together in the lower left hand side of the panel. Behind them we can see the war raging.
SOUND EFFECT WHOOOOSH! WHOOOOSH! WHOOOSH!
PANEL 3
The same shot as before, but we now see that a BRITISH TELEPHONE BOOTH has mysteriously materialized beside them. This is a classic red phone booth from the 1960’s, and not to be confused with a blue police box. The glass is tinted so we cannot see inside.
ROB Another time traveler!
PANEL 4
A strange fellow steps out of the phone booth. He wears a frock coat, pin-striped pants and a long striped scarf. A floppy wide-brimmed hat sits on his head, barely containing a mop of curly brown hair. His nose is long and his insanely big grins reveals a mouth full of tiny teeth.
This is THE ATTORNEY, last of the TIME KINGS, a race devoted to ensuring that the laws of time remain unbroken for all eternity.
THE ATTORNEY Hurry now, children... get inside before you both get shot!
