13th century? Probably a bell tent. Only the tent flaps and the pole are visible, however the tent flaps are held up by the same type of flap hooks to those shown in the Maciejowsky Bible. Far left. “ Ivory piece showing a man and a women playing a board game (chess ?) inside a tent, while being watch by a man (with a hawk) and a woman with a hoop in her hand.” Provenance unknown.
