| Early 16th century | The eight besieger’s bell tents and one pavilion are shown in the foreground,
those with the roof line showing show various forms of decoration. The
guy ropes use the two point attachment. There are also guy ropes to the
top of the tents, on a number of the bell tents on the right show how the
guy ropes are attached to a ring which is attached another ring which sits
over the top of the tent. Most of the tents show the ball apex with a small
flag pole on top.
On one of the larger bell tents on the right hand side shows a rectangular extension or small annex with a hinged door. |
