| "There is none holy as the Lord: for there is none beside thee: neither is there any rock like our God." 1Samuel 2:2 The Lord is spoken of as a "rock" in the Old Testament. In the New Testament the Lord Jesus Christ is called the "chief corner stone" (1Peter 2:6). In Matthew 16:18 Christ spoke of Himself when He said, ". . .upon this rock I will build my church." That Rock upon which Hannah rested is the same Rock upon which we rest today. There is no Rock like our God. God Bless You. |
