"Who shall ascend into the hill of the LORD? Or who shall stand in his holy place? He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart; who hath not kifted up his soul unto vanity, nor sworn deceitfully. He shall receive the blessing from the LORD, and righteousness from the God of his salvation. This is the generation of them that seek him, that seek thy face, O Jacob.   Selah" Psalm 24:3-6

Here we are in the last few days of December, and many people are experiencing and enjoying the beautiful white, pure snow that is floating through the air. Snow reminds me of the purity of our Lord Jesus. A righteous man, without spot. Pure, virginal, pristine.

Snow is often coupled with these words. We have just celebrated the birth of Christ Jesus. A pristine God sent His virginal Son to earth that we might be pure. After the Babe grew up, a spotless Jesus said to a group who were looking for a better way of living, "Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God." If today, this is the upward motivation you need, you'll want to pray this Psalmist's prayer: "Wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow." Your prayer for purity will make this the Whitest Christmas season ever! Let us make our lives as pure as wind-driven snow in the New Year to come.

May your day be wonderfully blessed as you serve, praise and give glory to an Almighty God!

Love in Christ Jesus, Sandy
