"But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord." II Corinthians 3:18

This very small verse of Scripture has a very large meaning if you are a child of God. And if you are not, then after you read this, you may want to seriously consider the way in which you would like to live eternally! There are only two choices ~ heaven or hell! There is no in-between and there is no time to wait! We are all God's children. If only everyone would seek Him!

I live out in the country on a farm. Now, I don't have horses and don't know a great deal about them, but in plowing fields and plowing up ground for planting, I have found a great many horseshoes. One of which seemed to be magnetic. This rather large, strong magnetic horseshoe brings to mind the works of God's children. You can take the largest magnet of any type, and you can place an old rusty nail to it and there will not be any contact. That magnet will not do the job it is designed to do! I guess you are asking yourselves, "what does an old magnet have to do with God's people?" Well, let me tell you! If the nail were shiny and new, it would leap to the magnet, attract another nail, and through it draw yet another, and so on. This reminds me of God's children and how they are attracted to God.

A really genuine, active, shining Christian has a tremendous attraction to Christ. They are magnetized by His love and purity, attracted by His power, and through that Christian, Christ can draw others to Him to share the same kind of power and attraction! But on the other hand, a rusty, corroded Christian, cranky, defiled and selfish, has very little attraction, and through them the power of Christ to win the world cannot flow!

Do you realize that God has enough power to wipe out every vice and every evil doctrine in this world? But first of all, He needs conductors! And rusty, untaught, unprepared, and unpracticed church members neither draw others near to God nor are drawn near to God themselves. For those of you who do not know Jesus as your personal Savior, you fall in the category of "unprepared." Will you be ready when Christ comes back for His children? I pray earnestly, you will. As for you, God's redeemed ~ Your faith and knowledge must be intensive before it can be extensive! Think on this.

May your day be wonderfully blessed as you polish up your act and be the outstanding warrior God meant for you to be!

Love in Christ Jesus,
