| "Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers; But with the precious blood of Christ, as a lamb without blemish and without spot." 1Peter 1:18-19 To forgive is to accept within yourself the consequences of the sins of others. It means to accept the pain, the problems and the burden that comes when someone sins against you. Forgiveness is neither an easy nor a frequent gift with people today. I think that is sad. Have you ever watched a cloud as it rolls across the blue sky above, and as you are watching, it breaks up and disappears forever? You will never see that cloud again. Even so, God deals with our sins. You believe in His Son as your Lord and Savior, and He blots our your transgressions just as He sweeps the cloud from your sight forever! The Bibke abounds in these assurances of utter removal of the penalty of sin from the child of God. So may I say, if God can take our sin and remember it no more, why is it difficult for us to forgive and to forget the sins of others. If you can't see your way through, just watch the clouds for a while and you will be reminded of how God moves in our lives. Not only with his wonderful creation, but with His marvelous grace. May God Bless you with a wonderful day as you remember Who died for you to cleanse you from all sin, as you find it in your heart to forgive others also. I LOVE <J><E><S><U><S>< LOVES ME |
