| Well my little beagle info.....I have always been around beagles. My uncles used to have hunting packs that would hunt hare and sometimes deer. I first got interested in showing beagles when I was 12 and went to my first dog show and I saw the beagles and thought that they were cute and small. So I started talking to a lady named Karen Merrill of Kalena Beagles and English Foxhounds. After that I was offered a job at Lanbur Beagles for the summer cleaning kennels and learning how to show under Eddie Dzuik. I then began my handling career with Kalena Beagles and English Foxhounds, the first dog that I ever showed was Kalena's Dixie Masterpeice "Newton". My first time out with him he took best of best and a Hound group 4 at the age of 7 months. I then started showing most of Karen's young dogs until I finished their championships. Sadly I was forced to move to Virginia and had to switch breeds from beagles to Great Danes. I now only have one beagle and she is from my uncle's old hunting pack and her name is Shiloh, she is pictured above at the age of 3 years. That sound that you hear is what it used to sound like with 10 beagles, 2 Great Danes, and 3 English Foxhounds!! | |||||||||||||||||
