Ow yeah! Axel!!! My SUPER-DUPER-FAVOURITE Organisation member. He first appears in Chain of Memories, giving the player a taste of his fabulous mind. The more-than-cool Flurry of the Dancing Flames knows what he wants: his best friend to come back to the Organisation and forget about all the 'Why did the Keyblade choose me'- stuff.
In Chain of Memories, Axel works as a double agent in Castle Oblivion. He pretend to join this bitch, Larxene, and the 'Castle Lord', Marluxia, in their plan to take control of the building using Sora as a puppet. This only to gain the trust of these traitors and make them pay. The cool thing about this all is that Axel (yay! ^ ^) kills Vexen, this horrible looking freak of a scientist. It first looks as if he was doing this in order of Marly, but things are never what they seem. Because of Vexen, our little Sora almost learned about his Nobody, Roxas. Something Axel HAD to prevent.
Axel is a diehard friend. He'd do anything to keep Roxas at his side, even fight him! (Which he does a couple of times) Our red headed Nobody with the magnificent pair of Chakram, thinks more than people dare to believe. He knows a damn lot about everything that's happening, but because of his aggressive outbursts, people tend to get confused when some ask them if Axel is a foe... or a friend.
However, you just HAVE to LOVE him. Especially when you get to know him better. As a Nobody, he does not have a Heart. Still, he has feelings... feelings coming right out of his soul. The Key of Destiny is the only one he ever liked. Roxas was the one making him feel as if he existed, even though Nobodies are considered being less than nothing. This is why Axel would literaly go through fire to save his friend, whether this means stopping him from fusing with Sora to become a whole person again or giving his life for the one Roxas has in Sora.
