Remember back in 1995, when MJ returned to play basketball after an almost 2-year foray to minor league baseball? What was that famous phrase that rocked the sporting world? Ah, lemme quote it for ya, �I�m back.� Yup, yup. After barely writing anything for the past year, I somehow mustered enough strength to update this shite for the first time in 2008. All thanks to old buddy Jek, who was jeering at me for attending UP (in his words, �nabahiran ka na�), which, oddly enough, are the exact same sentiments I share, see [The Tensai's Prefecture]. In the meantime, let�s run the updater: 1. Miko and I are finally together. Going strong for almost 10 months. 2. I had to decline admission to the University of Notre Dame due to financial reasons. They offered 30% scholarship but that wasn�t enough. $70,000 is still too much. 3. I am currently a full-time law student at the UP College of Law�no prejudice to ADMU�ranked #16 of the incoming batch. 4. I quit my job at BPI last June. The only thing I miss is payday. 5. I predicted the Spurs to win the championship, which means I�m 2-of-4 in NBA predictions since I started the site.

Feeling a trifle too lazy to write a pre-season prediction for the upcoming NBA season. Found this great article, though, which more or less encapsulates what I would've written anyway. Who'll be NBA champs this season? I'm afraid there's only one answer

There shouldn't have been a foul on 'Bron's block on Jeffries in the final minutes of Game 6. That was a clean block and should've been the play of the game... Poor Arenas, the guy had one heckuva series but blew 2 free throws. And James had a hand in that by telling Arenas, "If you miss this one, the game's over." It was.

Not much to say, really. Just forgot to mention that Cleveland is my dark horse for the playoffs. They lost yesterday, but LeBron just had an off-night (happens to the best of us). I think if they can somehow get past Detroit, they could go all the way. After all, they're one of the few teams to have beaten San Antonio this season.
