Site FAQ

What is the hell's "Tiopianco no tensai":

It's a loose Japanese translation of "genius of the Tiopianco." Or is it "I'm just a selfish egoistic bastard"?

What this site is:

This site is all the shite of yours truly put together. I just made it out of fookin boredom. Well, I hope it's one cool shite.

What this site is not:

This is no fact site; all the shite here are opinions of yours truly and whoever crappy people I could get to contribute. This is not a multimedia site; although I did put up a downloads section, I won't update it regularly.

Peace, love, and bananas,

F.P. Tiopianco

 Updates - July 2004

07/29/03

The [The Narcissist's Pond] is up and running. Click on the hyperlink or the images below.

Added links to my friends' sites (see sidebar). New entries at [The Tensai's Prefecture]

The site will be one month old tomorrow. With over 110 hits, it's definitely beyond my initial expectations. Live forever!

07/27/03

I created a new subsection, [The Narcissist's Pond], for my grad pics rejects and other stuff. It'll be up later this day. The link can be found at [The Tensai's Prefecture]. Also added some new entries there. Forum was never really down, you can access it at the sidebar.

Official word was released yesterday that Larry Fonacier suffered a torn ACL, which means he will miss the entire UAAP season.

[UAAP] POSTSCRIPT: Fonacier Special: Larry's collegiate career is over

07/26/03

I'll upload my grad pic rejects tomorrow, cos I was supposed to have it scanned at my cuz's place last Saturday but t'was raining hard and my cuz's place was 2 streets away--yeah, I was just lazy.

07/21/03

Uploaded my Senior's Page. I had to learn Photoshop last Saturday night to have a respectable senior's page--I think I've become pretty good at it in such a short period of time, won't you say so? hyohyohyo...

Added new entries at the [The Tensai's Prefecture]

[UAAP] POSTSCRIPT: Ateneo drubs UST; La Salle stuns FEU

From ESPN.com: Offseason scoreboard. Another very good article

07/16/03

There's been plenty of wheelin'-and-dealin' this early in the offseason in the NBA. A lot of movers, including marquee players. So here's another update.

[NBA Blog] Martin dealt to Denver; Ginobili and Brent Barry sign with Spurs. Methinks...

Other stuffs:

From ESPN.com: Kobe takes easy way out. A very good article, a must-read.

This one shouldn't be on the headlines

Kobe has decided to stay with the Lakers. Like that's any news. Everybody knew that that's what's gonna happen. Shaq's trade sealed it. No need to give an opinion on this one.

Why surrender?

I was really pissed off with the pulling out of RP troops from Iraq. That was just "a shameful surrender to the Iraqi terrorists." I really don't give a shit about what Bush says, but there's no way you abandon your ally in any warfare. Pulling out is blatant bullcrap. If you don't get my point, try reading the column of Max Soliven "By The Way" last July 14 on the Philippine Star (the title is "A shameful surrender to the Iraqi terrorists"). I was unable to upload it here cos the Philstar.com's archive is not working (I will, if it gets fixed). I tell you, Soliven (an Ateneo alumnus) is better than de Quiros.

[Video Games] PS2 Review: Flame of Recca: Final Burning (J)

[Motor Sports] Schumi makes it 9 out of 10 in Magny-Cours

Other stuffs:

Move over Anna!

Tennis has a new pin-up girl and this one's got a major title to go along with it. 17-year old Russian sensation Maria Sharapova won the Wimbledon title last Saturday, becoming the youngest, and most beautiful, to do so. I tell you, she's really one fine lady [deep breath]! I was watching the match live on Super Sports and I just couldn't switch channels--I watched the match from start to the awarding ceremonies... D'you wanna know what I mean? Click here for Sharapova's pic

Spidey 2 is all good

I watched Spiderman 2 yesterday (I lined up for 20 minutes just for the ticket), and it was really good. Fight scenes were good and the CGs were not overused, unlike in some movies. Peter Parker's character was well-developed and the plot flowed smoothly. There were also intelligible dialogues and a good number of figurative techniques. Most importantly it has a little of something for everyone: action, comedy, drama, romance, what have you? Although Otto Octavio's character was not as well-developed as Norman Osborne's was in the original, and even though I particularly disliked MJ running through the city in a wedding gown, the movie still delivers. It's definitely worth the hype.

I think the 3rd movie, due on May 2006, will be the final installment of the franchise. Harry Osborne aka Hobgoblin finally gets his chance to exact revenge on his best friend/archnemesis Peter Parker/Spiderman. ..
