Benin

    Tour 1 - Somba Country

    Day 1: Flight arrives in Ouagadougou. Hotel.

    Day 2: Long transfer Ouagadougou - Bongo (Benin). Camp.

    Day 3-4-5: Three day hiking tour through the villages of Somba. We will see many 'Tata huts', the traditional Benin houses.

    Day 6: Visit of a small market. Transfer to Natitingou. Camp.

    Day 7:Visit the museum in Natitingou. Hike to the Kota waterfalls, where we can swim. Start transfer to Ouagadougou. Overnight stay on the way.

    Day 8: Continue our transfer to Ouagadougou. Visit Ouagadougou. Flight.

    Tour 2 - Somba Country

    Day 1: Flight arrives in Ouagadougou. Hotel.

    Day 2: Long transfer Ouagadougou - Benin. Camp.

    Day 3: Visit market and Tata somba, traditional benin huts.

    Day 4: Road to the mountains of Taneka. Walk to the old Taneka villages located at the mountainside. Camp.

    Day 5: We take the road to Abomey, capital of the kingdom fon, large supplier of slaves in Brazil. We visit the palace of king Guézo and Glélé. Travel to Lokossa, where we will spend the night.

    Day 6: Transfer to the coast, to Grand Popo. Hotel

    Day 7: Short transfer to Ouidah, capitol of the voodoo. Visit the road of the slaves, the temple of pythons and the crowned forest. We continue our road to Ganvié, the village with its houses built on piles in lake Nokwé. Hotel in Cotonou.

    Day 8: Visit Porto Novo, the capital of Benin. Transfer back to Cotonou. Flight
