Our groups
Our prices are based on the assumption that we have a group of a minimum of 7 people. Below this number travelers pay an additional cost of 5% of the total price given if a group contains 4 to 6 people. In case you wish to tavel with 3 people an additional amount of 55 euros per person will be required and finally for 2 people an additional amount of 150 euros

Flight
We are happy to advise and assist customers in purchasing their tickets (one-way or return). However it is the responsibility of the traveler to buy the ticket him- or herself.
Please note that return flights need to be confirmed and that changing flight schedules plus the fee for changing is the travelers responsibility.

Payment
'We prefer payment beforehand by international transfer to a specified bank account, however guest may wish to make a payment or part-payment when they arrive in the country. If this is more convenient for you the remaining can be paid during or after the trip. Kindly indicate your payment preference when you make reservations.
Visa
An entry-visa is obligatory for the countries we tour in. Those traveling in the following countries: Togo, Bιnin and Burkina Faso, can obtain a visa allowing them to travel within these countries.
Because of the physical challenge of traveling, hiking and cycling in hot temperatures, a good healthy physical condition is necessary. If the traveler has a medical condition which requires follow-up, he or she should inform us in advance and is advised to have the approval of his/her doctor.
Please note that living conditions and practices in West Africa may not be the same and socio-cultural circumstances are different. A good mood and courtesy will help enable you to enjoy your stay. We trust that guests & travelers respect the laws in force in each country as well as the local cultural practices.
Insurance
Insurance for repatriation, cancellation of luggage and other forms of insurances are the responsibility of the traveler. In the event of an accident, our responsibility is limited to transport tothe medical unit nearest to the airport for repatriation. We advise you to consult an agency that specialises in travel insurances that include medical expenses.
Health
If you encounter health problems during the course of the journey the guide should be immediately informed, so that a doctor/clinic can be contacted as soon as possible.
As said before a traveller should be in good health. Those people having handicaps or any other physical problem are advised to inform us in advance so that necessary arrangements can be made.
Vaccination against yellow fever, meningitis, hepatitis B, and cholera is required and that against tetanus is advised. Your local health unit should be able to direct you to the appropriate clinic or doctor to get your vaccinations and preventive malaria tablets.
During the evenings long sleeves and trousers are required to prevent mosquito bites as well as anti-mosquito aids such as: Musquito net, repellent, sprays.
A first aid kit containing bandages and other pharmaceutical products should be taken along.
Considering tap water could be of doubtful nature, it is recommended that each traveler brings micropur, hydroclonazonne or aquatabs to purify water. Buying locally available bottles of mineral water is another option.
It is advised to drink 3 to 4 liters of water daily to avoid dehydration.
Luggage
Every piece of luggage should have a label and must be well closed. In the event of loss of luggage we will assist you to lodge a complaint at the airport. We commit ourselves to conveying lost luggage to its owner however the additional cost will be at the expense of the traveller.
To make traveling more comfortable it is advised to carry a backpack during traveling.

Lodging and catering
We lodge in double rooms with showers and WCs. In case you wish to stay in a single room an additional charge will be requested. We can also arrange for guests who prefer to stay in a higher priced hotel. The extra charges are to be paid by the traveler.
When traveling or hiking through nature reserves or remote areas we mostly sleep in tents. Meals are hygienically prepared on the campingsite

Other things you need to know...
Do not forget that clothes, pens, balloons and other small gifts are really appreciated by children as well as adults you meet during your trip.
However giving presents can be a delicate matter sometimes. To avoid disappointment or confusion we therefore advise you to give the items to the guide who would be happy to hand them out in your presence and at the appropriate time.
Traveling at night: We try as much to avoid traveling at night because the roads are not always in a good condition.
For safety reasons travelers are kindly requested to stay with the guide and take his advise during hiking.
Since we are responsible for a smooth tour schedule we may adjust the scheduled tour, in case of delays or an emergency during the tour.
Our guides are either French or English speaking, depending on the country were in. Your guide organisator speaks English as well as French.
