The following should help answer some of your questions about my labor support services.
� - Two Home Visits �� * approximately 90 minutes each
��� 1.�� Prenatal Interview � discussion of birth plan, prenatal history, hopes and fears of the
��������� upcoming birth, and getting to know each other.
��� 2.� Post Partum Visit � review the delivery, discussion of breastfeeding and/or other postpartum issues.
�������������������� * usually 5-8 days after delivery, but I will be available sooner if needed
��� - Labor Support
��� Laboring with you, from the time you feel my presence is needed, transferring to hospital (if hospital
���� birth), through delivery, and until breastfeeding has been established.�
�� ����������������������� * cervical exams can be performed if desired and if bag of waters intact.
� - Unlimited Phone Consultation
� - 24 Hour On-Call Availability ����� * beginning two weeks prior to EDD and continuing until birth
What my services do not include:
� - Making Decisions for You
��� I will offer information and suggestions, answer questions, advocate on your behalf, and
���� fully support your decisions.� This is your birth.
� - Any Medical Diagnosis
� - Midwifing a Homebirth
