A new province today and 7,000 km complete. We are required to shuttle over the bridge to PEI, the only 13 km of highway we won't bike on this entire trip. The bridge really is an engineering marvel that Canada should be proud of.
PEI exceeds our expectations, the province is gorgeous- rolling farmland, vast ocean vistas, red cliffs, sand dunes, long beaches. Our b&b for the night looks out to the crashing waves and red cliffs.

Another great day in this new province, cruising along the coastline and farmlands of PEI. What a fantastic province that we can bike from the north end to the south end in an hour!

Three metre swells from a ferocious southwesterly turn the ferry crossing back to PEI into a roller coaster nightmare. Sick bags are being handed out, the crew is out with mop and pail, everyone is looking various shades of green. Even my ironclad stomach does somersaults, and Andrea clings to her chair in desparation, waiting for the gravol to kick in.
Back on sweet soil, we are soon cursing the wind, directly oncoming and slowing us to a crawl. After two hours we have had enough and call it a day.
