Ben Nevis
The trail starts in front of the Youth Hostel in Glen Nevis and it goes all the way to the top so you do not have to scramble to get there.  It is the highest mountain on the British Isles so you have to be careful but it is not really hard to hike as long as your fit. The summit has the reputation to be 300 days out of 365 in the clouds so if you are lucky enough and have a sunny day, it is really rewarding once on the top. It should take you aroung 8 hours but it should take you less if you hike often. If you like challenge and the quietness of nature, you should look for another way to get to the top because the main one is really popular. There is a tourism office in Fort William where you can get useful information and maps.
