FRIENDS OF IYT TOWN
WEEKLY NEWS
8TH EDITION
MARCH 21, 2001
***HOWDY HOWDY***

That time again already.  Time sure does fly past anymore.  Well, Peeps!! Spring is here at last.  Hopefully you are all feeling the warmth that this season brings us.  Today was the first time I actually heard the rain since I have lived in Wyoming.. the air smelled clean and fresh, and the sound of tires splashing through it was so inviting.. It was a most enjoyed welcome.
I have noticed the club isn't as active as it once was. Now that my schedule is becoming more set and I am getting more familar with all these different programs hopefully we can start having fun again.  Thanks to all whom have shared their photos. There is still more room... I even had to start up a second photo album :) it is a treat to be able to see faces of members I have met, and I know that is a shared feeling with some of you as well.  So what is everyone doing these days?  I miss my previous home.. right now I would be tilling up the garden and mowing the yard.  I always did enjoy working outside.  Well lots of news to share this week... as well as the results from the poll... so grab a cup or glass of your favorite drink.. fix a snack... open up them windows.. and relax while I fill you in. :)  Hope to also see you all shortly.

Subject: User profile changes: time zone, ratings enhancements

Message: Some of these changes may affect your user profile. More on that below.

I'm pleased to announce two changes to your user profile: time zones, and ratings for every game.

Time zones: You can now enter the time zones that you're in. All the times on ItsYourTurn.com will reflect your local time. This includes times on the game status page as well as times under the game boards.

Ratings for all games: You can now enter your rating for all games, not just a select few. Under ACCOUNT on the left side click on "Edit ratings".

Other changes, please read: We have also changed the state and country to drop-down lists. We have tried to move as much information from the old information into this new format. However, there were times when we couldn't figure out which state or country was being referenced. In this case, we have left the field marked as "None Selected". We encourage everyone to take a look at their user profile to make sure their city, state, and country are entered correctly. To do this, look under the ACCOUNT section on the left side of your screen, and click on "Edit user profile". Thanks.

Please let us know if you run into any problems.

DRINKING BUDDIES

A couple of drinking buddies who are airplane mechanics are in a hangar at JFK New York. It's fogged in and they have nothing to do.

One of them says to the other, "Man, have you got anything to drink?"

The other one says, "Nah, but I hear you can drink jet fuel, and it will kinda give you a buzz."  So they do drink it, get smashed and have a great time, like only drinking buddies can.

The following morning, one of the men wakes up and he just knows his head will explode if he gets up, but it doesn't. He gets up and feels good. In fact, he feels great! No hangover!

The phone rings. It's his buddy. The buddy says, "Hey, how do you feel?"

"Great", he said! "Just great"! The buddy says, "Yeah, I feel great too, and no hangover. That jet fuel stuff is great. We should do this more often!

"Yeah, we could, but there's just one thing . . . "

"What's that?"

"Did you fart yet?"

"No . . . "

"Well, DON'T, 'cause I'm in Phoenix."
Just to let you know... Thirstie is recovering from back surgery.  If you get a chance you may want to wish him well. He is doing much better.. and it has been several weeks now since the surgery.. Get Well Thirstie... we all miss ya!!!
