Chapter 7 - Harnessing the strength within
Yusuke continued to beat me. I searched his eyes searching for the old Yusuke I knew. My eyes were only greeted by the same cold gleam Kuroi’s eyes held. I struggled to think of away out of this. I thought of summoning my fire wind again but I knew I couldn’t for I have drained all my power. But even with all of my power I could never hurt him, I thought as his fists buried into my stomach. “Yusuke please” I pleaded as I spit out blood. My body was bruised all over. So this was how it feels like to be on the receiving end. No wonder so many youkais feared him, my thoughts wandered as he hit my face again. “Stop!” The bitch commanded. Yusuke tossed me aside and bowed to her.
“Yes, mistress.”
“I have thought of a more painful way for her to see her end!” Her eyes crinkled evilly. “Rape her! Rape her until she dies!” She laughed wickedly as Yusuke got up.
I pressed myself against the shadows, looking all over the room frantically searching for help. I screamed as Yusuke hauled me over the bed. I tried to struggle out of his grasp but he pulled me back and pinned me down on the bed. He began ripping my clothes apart. “No Yusuke! Please no! It’s me Botan!” I pleaded wildly. She laughed once again and barked “Rape her now! Slowly and painfully!” Yusuke lowered his head and stopped just within a few inches of my face. “No.” he said, it was barely audible but it was firm. What???
Kuroi choked. “No! I won’t do it!” He was screaming now. Yes! Yusuke! I know you could do it! “No one has ever disobeyed me before, she growled and if anyone did they would surely pay!”
With that a huge black beam hit Yusuke, “NO!” I screamed. Yusuke fell limply into my arms. Kuroi laughed her cruel laugh. “Pathetic fool!” she hollered. Tears sting my cheek as I looked down on him. He looked so peaceful. “Why you, bitch!” I screamed. I feel my body surge with anger. Fire and wind were uniting within me once again. I laid him gently on the bed. I stood up and faced the bitch that stole him away from me. Her eyes widened as I shouted FIRE WIND! The blast smacked her through the wall and off somewhere. I didn’t care as long as she was out of my sight. I hovered painfully over Yusuke. I touched his face and thanked the heavens to feel that he was still alive and with that I collapsed.
