-Ch 6-
-Beep beep beep-
"Hang in there Ms. Minamino. It will be ok." Maya held Shiori's hand in.
I walked to the doorway and saw Maya and my mother. I quickly hid behing the doorway and watched them. If I made this recovery to them I will just feel torn up agian and maybe fall on the ground crying. But my mother needs me to stay by her side.
"I will get you an apple from the kitchen. Hold on." Maya began to walk out the door. Oh no! I shut my eyes tightly. Maya walked outside.
"s...Shuichi..?" she looked at me. I opened my eyes.
"Um....." I began to run off.
"Shuichi!!! SHUICHI!!!" I heard Maya run after me. She sounded like she was crying. I took a turn in a room. I looked at my fist. I groaned. Maya ran around the corner.
-pow!- I.....just knocked her out. I stared at her on the ground. My eyes started to water. What have I done? But..... if I met her face to face, I would start squaling and end up telling her the truth about me and put her in danger. I picked her up and laid her on the empty bed. Then I ran off.
"Maya! Maya!" Maya slowly opened her eyes and found her motherin Shiori's room.
"What happened?" she asked.
"You fainted. We found you on an empty bed in a room." the nurse said.
"Shuichi! Where's Shuichi!!" she looked around.
"Maya-chan! Shuichi is gone! You know that..." Shiori said in a scratchy voice.
"Maybe.......I was only imagining it..."
"Are you ok honey?" her mother asked.
"Y...Yes Kasaan." Maya answered.
"Come. We're going home."
"So you punched her?" My fire demon friend asked as he sat in a tree.
"I don't know what I was thinking. If I could of hit her any harder I could of damaged her badly."
"But you had no choice....." Hiei jumped down from the tree.
Kurama sighed. "I shouldn't of even went to the hospital to begin with."
Hiei snickered. "Ch! Are you blaming yourself?" he asked.
"What does that mean?!" Kurama snapped.
"You feel bad b/c you knocked out a girl? What is there to feel bad about?"
"What did you say?!" Kurama yelled.
"You heard me..."
-Swish!-
"Damn you Hiei! You don't know how I feel!" Kurama yelled as he punched the tree.
"Dammit Hiei!!!!" he kicked the tree. He paused.
"......Jerk...!"
Kurama quickly turned around. Maya was walking down the sidewalk towards him. He turned back around and ran as fast as he could away from her. He heard her gasp.
"Shuichi!!" she ran after him. Kurama took a turn towards the ally.
He dissapeared b/f she came around the corner.
"Shuichi!........." Maya came around the corner.
She saw nothing.
"Oh no!!" she fell on her knees.
"I lost him agian.....That was really him! I know it!" she sighed a sad sigh.
"He's in this place....I can feel it...but why is he avoiding me...? WHY?" Maya jumped up.
"SHUICHI COULD YOU STOP HIDING FROM ME?! WHERE THE HELL ARE YOU!!?? DAMMIT!!!! STOP AVOIDING ME!!!!" she shouted out. She sighed a sad sigh.
"Why are you yelling?" a low soft, calm voice came from around the corner.
"Who the heck are you?" she asked. The guy stepped around the corner. Maya gasped. It was the guy who saved her at the fire.
"It's.....you...!" she stared at my fox face.
"W...Who are you..." she asked.
".........Kurama........"
"Kurama? Oh! Um....I...forgot......thank you...for..saving me ...ya know...at the fire." she smiled.
I looked at her cute smiling face. She's not afraid of me at all? Whoa.
"You're....not afraid of me?" I asked.
"Afraid? Why would I be afraid of you? I was a little shaky when you saved me....but.....when you kissed me....i felt....all warm and safe..." she began to blush.
"By the way....you said you would explain later and it's later isn't it?"
I didn't reply.
"Why DID you kiss me anyway? I COULD OF had a boyfriend.." she giggled.
"You seemed petrified at the moment so I figured I could of calmed you down." I said.
She groaned at me and stomped away from me. I looked a little....confused.
"What? What did I say?!" I shrugged.
She paused. Then crossed her arms.
"You aren't a part of this world are you..?"
I almost chocked on myself.
"How.....did......you..."
"I'm a bit psycic. I saw flashbacks of you in what everyone called Makai...." she said.
"It's quite a long story....Maya....but I g2 tell you something."
"What?" she faced him.
I gently closed my eyes and concentrated. My long silver hair becam shorter to my waiste, the color turnd into red. Mygolden eyes faded bigger from golden to emerald green. My muscles shrank smaller. My height shrunk to 6 feet. Before anyone knew it. I was Shuichi Minamino.
Maya's face turned in horror.
"Shuichi!"
"Y....Yes Maya..Its..me...." I said to her. She gasped and then ran off.
"Maya! Wait!" I pulled out my Rose Whip and aimed it at her.
-Pow!-
The whip wrapped around her arm. I ran over to her.
"Maya please! Never tell ANYONE about this! It will bring them to danger." I whispered softly to her.
"Especially don't tell mother. The people I love lives are in your hands."
"Then why did you tell me if it will bring me to danger?" she demanded.
"Because.....I..couldn't bare to lie to you. It hurt me so badly."
She began to blush.
"That's why I broke up w/ you. Meet me at Tokyo beach tonight at 8pm." I released her from my rose whip and ran off.
