Hideaway Hollow - Facilities

Hideaway Hollow is divided by season. From March through September, the bulk of our "herd" is at our Belmont, North Carolina facility (at left). From mid-September through the winter, we truck ourselves down south to Florida. The weather is beautiful and the competition at HITS Ocala and the Winter Equestrian Festival simply cannot be topped.

We have thirty acres of prime horseland in North Carolina. That includes a 24-stall main barn with a 6-stall stallion wing attached. Our riding arenas are a particular source of pride. We have an outdoor grass hunt course, a 200x150ft outdoor arena, and a 180x100ft covered arena. Both arenas have crumb rubber footing with the most shock absorbency. For winding down outside the ring, we have numerous pastures and acres of trails (neighboring property) thanks to our rural location.

Property in Wellington is decidedly more expensive. For that reason, we rent a small facility each year before we head south for the shows. Gracie is considering purchasing a farm of her own, there, but that can wait until we expand.

grand opening

Hideaway Hollow officially opened its doors to the All-Sim world on August 9, 2007. Remember that, unfortunately, nothing that you see here is real.

horses wanted

Hideaway Hollow is very interested in purchasing horses and ponies suitable for competition as hunter, jumper, or equitation mounts. Special preference for proven Thoroughbreds, Australian Riding Ponies, Welsh Ponies, and assorted warmblood breeds.
