For a brief moment, we live alongside these heroic characters: cry as they cry, laugh as they laugh, and love as they love. In seeing their struggles and determination to overcome their troubles, we, too, gain the courage to overcome the problems in our lives as well. Though they are fictional, the dilemmas they face and their moral judgements are reflections of ones we encounter in our lives (just minus the wings and magic).
