--- Guild History "from the perspective of Calac"
- Calac 1/23/04 - 2:01 PM EST

Along time ago I was playing diablo 2 with a guild called the brotherhood of avalon which still
exists to this day. After a long time of playing a few guildmates including one good buddy of mine,
left for a new game they called DAoC. I myself didn't decide to try dark age til about a month
after the release. The only person I could contact from my diablo 2 guild was the very same person
you now know as deathknyght aka ashleee. I contacted them and asked what server to play on and was
told to play on the bors server in the realm of midgard. I immediately started playing trying out
different classes such as thanes and warriors. I started a healer and ended up leveling til about
19 or so before my computer decided to crap out and I was left with diablo 2 being the only game
I could actually run without problems. Later I updated my computer and came back to the game
around a month after the SI release and again found my old buddy playing with a guild called wyld
knyghts. I joined this guild to play with my old time friend and enjoyed myself while getting plenty
of help leveling my healer to 50. After a while one of the old GM's from wyld knyghts came back
and didn't like the way things were being run although i still can't quite understand why.
Hence, the majority of the officers and members followed Ashleee to the creation of a new guild
which we named Heros of Valhalla. After a while HoV died down a bit because of personal issues with
many people IRL. Frostwarrior was one of the only members who really stuck with the guild to the
dying days of its life until finally Ashlee and a few others returned and the guild picked back up
very fast. My thanks goes out to Frostwarrior for sticking with it and showing his true dedication
to his guild and also to Ashlee for getting things back together in the guild. Ashlee and Frost
are great people and have been leading this guild with the utmost respect for all members and
fellow realm mates. Keep up the good work guys!
