Regarding play, there were a few special rules. First, each team was limited to three actions per turn. Leadership and Team Abilities that modified the number of actions per turn were allowed.
Secondly, all games utilized the HeroClix Outdoor Adventure Pack with its special maps and objects. After map placement, the players, beginning with the first player, took turns selecting the special objects from the Outdoor Adventure Pack. A set of standard object tokens were used as well, and all objects were placed on the board normally.
Finally, Victory Points were only awarded for figures captured or KOed.
