Please call Classic City Comics at (706) 583-9009 for current tournament information. The HeroClix League of Athens meets weekly at Classic City Comics & Games for tournaments or friendly matches on Thursdays at 6:30 p.m.
Participants will not know the exact length of each round. Each round will last an unspecified amount of time, roughly 35-55 minutes, set by the Judge at the beginning of each round. Players will not have access to the clock during the round. This rule is intended to prevent plays made based on the time remaining in a round.
A player may concede defeat to another player. The Judge must agree with the player wishing to concede that if the game were to continue all of the conceding player's remaining figures would be defeated without removing any of the opposing player's figures from the game. The conceding player's remaining figures are considered KOed for purposes of calculating victory points.
A player may not concede if he or she is fielding a figure that has an arch-enemy on the opposing player's force.
All participants in an event will have a voice in determining which player will receive the fellowship award. Each player will vote by secret ballot for the player they feel should be awarded the Fellowship prize at the end of each event. The Judge will use these votes in order to make an informed choice when selecting who receives the fellowship award.
