| The high priest tore his clothes and condenmed Jesus for blasphemy. It was decided that Jesus be taken to Pontius Pilate for trial and judgment. Jesus was then taken away. | ||||||||||||

| Outside Peter had been close by fire when he was asked if he knew Jesus. Peter denied it. Jesus was being brought out of the hall when Peter denied him for the 3rd time. | ||||||||||||

| Just then the cock crowed and the Lord turned and looked at Peter, he remebered the words of Jesus,"This night before the cock crows twice, you will have denied 3 times that you even know me." Then Peter went out and wept. (Luke 22:61) |
