| Jesus went up to the mountain and the large crowd followed Him. Seeing them His heart was moved with pity and cured the sick. In the afternoon Jesus sat down with His disciples as they told Him,"Master, you should send these people away. They should go to the villages where they could buy food." (Matthew 14:13-15) |

| Jesus said,"There's no need to send them away, you give them something to eat." They looked at each other and said,"How, there are thousands of them we cannot feed them." Jesus asked, "Is there any food left?" | |||||||||||

| They told Him they only had 5 loaves and 2 fish. Jesus prayed and said, "Put the loaves and fish in the baskets and give them to the people." (Matthew 14 17-19) |
